shac Junior Consultant Anthony Symons has excellent organisational skills and is efficient in office management and administration.

 

Anthony has significant local government experience and, within his previous role at Gold Coast City Council, was responsible for administrating several project management and development teams across various industry sectors, including sport, film and export.

 

Anthony has a keen eye for detail and is proficient at finance management, having facilitated the directorates’ annual budget of more than $3 million dollars.

Versatility is the key for Anthony, who is able to adapt to any task, from the general running of the shac office to providing executive assistance to the founding partner, and ensuring the administration of client accounts runs smoothly and as effectively as possible.

 

Anthony has experience conducting research and preparing briefing notes, managing project workflow of marketing and consultation material, and coordinating high level business meetings. In a previous role with Surf Lifesaving Queensland, Anthony was responsible for designing surf safety education programs and subsequently presenting awareness programs to schools and community groups.

 

He also takes a keen interest in event management and has previously coordinated events for industry

bodies, Sport Gold Coast and Film Gold Coast, as well as planning the logistics for the hosting of Gold Coast City’s international sister cities and VIP visitors. His event management experience also spans to the hospitality industry where he was a conference and events officer for a five star hotel.
